Pupil Leadership

At Mile Oak, our Pupil Leaders play an important role in shaping our school community and bringing our Think Big vision to life. They are positive role models who motivate others, influence change, and help ensure that every pupil’s voice is heard, valued, and represented.

We are proud that our leaders reflect the diversity of our whole school community and promote a culture of inclusion, where everyone feels they belong. They listen carefully to the views of others, represent their peers thoughtfully, and help ensure that decisions reflect the needs and experiences of all pupils.

We place great importance on oracy, empowering our pupils to share their views, contribute to meaningful discussions, and help shape school life.

Pupil Leaders are encouraged to think big about the difference they can make in school and beyond. They reflect on the needs of others, contribute to decision-making, and help strengthen our school community through active citizenship and democracy.

Our leaders demonstrate our school values of respect, courage, pride and ambition, leading by example and inspiring others to make a positive difference.
